Call or Text Young 8053404241The history of Beneteauis nothing short of fantastic! One of, if not the oldest, family owned boat building names on the planet. Surviving many trends, mistakes and economic twists only to emerge as still one the worlds premiere yacht builders. The 2014 Beneteau First 25 S proudly carries on the this tradition and is a true beauty! Beneteau took the best of the older designs and merged it with state of the art build technology to make the hull 2,000lbs lighter. A beamier transom allowing room for twin rudders for better tracking. The deep V of the forward hull minimizes pounding on waves when going to weather, and the flatter hull sections aft help keep the boat more up right and less of the rolling motion. Her current owner has kept her professionally maintained, and has loved being in boating since a teenager. Starting with wooden boats and owning many boats along the way. He also took part in building and / or restoring 4 boats. Enjoying a lifetime of fun and memories ranging from sailboat racing, cruises with family and friends to the islands, Mexico and charters around the world."I've had many adventures, some mishaps, but it all equaled a lot of fun, all in all, it's been a great journey"The seller recalls one of many memorable mentions with Volare."It started out on a cool, cloudy, windy day, visible red flags indicated gale force winds. Sounded perfect! haha! Putting 2 reefs in the main, donned lifejackets and foul weather gear, and we headed out to the starting line for our Wet Wednesday race. By the time we rounded the first mark, we were in 25 knots of wind, taking on heavy waves and spray, the crew and I were wide eyed, excited and lets just say that there was no shortage of adrenaline between us, Volare was the most calm as she was handling things just perfectly! While other boats suffered breakdowns and knockdowns. Volare was holding and tracking. At one point we topped a huge wave! Our speed shot up to 14.5 knots! Amongst other thoughts that came to mind...;)  I thought to myself... with all my years of being at sea.. WOW this is impressive!"This boat can clearly handle it with the right skipper! We flew down to the finish line and took 1st place! What an exhilarating feeling! As the saying goes, 'time and tide wait for no man.' As I'm surpassing 85 wonderful years in my life, my time has come to pass Volare on to the next owner. In doing so, my wish would be for the new owners to keep her in good condition and enjoy the hell out of her!!A few noteworthy mentions;Bottom Paint 2020, New Gelcoat and hull paint 2020, professionally cleaned, sanded, 3 coats awlgrip blue applied over 3 coats of awl grip primer. Beautiful turnkey vessel. Rigging is great! Engine is great! If you like this style, this beauty is ready to go!Call or Text Young Gietzen 805-340-4241Show More
