Bavaria Vision 42 - Long Term cruising and liveaboard in comfort and style
The second generation of the already renowned Vision models has been further developed with the focus on sailing performance, cozy atmosphere and comfort for the long-term cruise and liveaboard. With the assistance of the Farr Design House Bavaria has succeeded in developing new designs of both exterior and the interior of the new Vision.
The asymmetric companionway and the wide aft body of the boat has resulted in a huge cockpit with new convertible seating areas as well as it has given way to a new functional pantry design, making cooking on the voyage to a better experience.
This boat has the one-bathroom option which results in a huge owners cabin forward with a large double berth, plenty natural light and amble storage. It even has its own workingdesk area. The large saloon has various seating options around the foldable table and navigation area. All with functions that will work either at sea or when in port or at a quiet anchorage.
The pantry is huge with all you need to make a decent dinner. A very large fridge with two top and one front opening a stove with an oven as well as a microwave oven and many storage compartments. The entire saloon and cockpit area experience plenty of light from the many hatches and portlights throughout.
Aft of the pantry you find the huge aft cabin with two single berths that can be converted into an even larger double berth. Also here you will find amble storage space.
On the starboard side of the companionway you find the toilet with a separate shower compartment. From here you can continue further aft into a huge lazarette with lots of space for all the stuff you would want to bring for a longer voyage.
The decks are wide and safe to walk due to the beautiful teak and many safe handholds. The cockpit is well laid out with two steering positions and easy access to winches, sheets and halyards.
Aft a huge bathing platform can be lowered when in port or at an anchorage.
