This 1952 Tahiti Ketch, built to Bill Hanna’s plans, is in good condition, was well built (by Preston Hilburn in Poulsbo, Wa) and has a new Yanmar Diesel Engine with only 250 Hours (installed in 2014) and Carol Hasse, Port Townsend Sails (in good condition)!
The vessel is made from Yellow Cedar over Bent Oak. The vessel is fastened with Bronze Screws from the waterline down. Sprig received a new Stern Post and Knee in 2014 and has had Planks replaced professionally as needed to keep the vessel in good working order.

Down below Sprig’s Galley is off to starboard with a Dickinson Diesel Stove/Oven/Heater, Sink with Fresh and Salt Manual Pumps and Storage. To Port is also storage in a Hanging Locker. Forward is the Salon with two Settees that also make single berths and a Dinette. There is storage in and around the Settee’s and a large hatch above. Forward of the Salon takes you to the Head to port that has storage, a port light and a Porta-Potty. The Main Cabin is all the way forward with a Double Bunk, storage and an opening hatch above.
Sprig is in good condition and ready to go sailing! Her new Yanmar Engine will take the new owners well into the future with a great, reliable engine. The boat has been well kept and well-maintained and is currently sitting dockside on Marrowstone Island, WA.
