“Grand Slam" Classic 36’Hull number 276 of 365 built by “American Marine” known as “Grand Banks"During 1963-1973 “Grand Banks" were made in HongKong. Over 365 were built there. Highly regarded woodenboat builders, these vessels were built with yacal frames (yacal is a termite resistant and very strong hardwood) mahogany hulls, and decks with high quality teak throughout. From 1974 and beyond “Grand Banks” werebuilt of fiberglass in the Singapore yards.Capable, reliable and economical "Grand Slam” is ready tocruise north to San Juan’s, Canada, Alaska or wherever you point the compass.
