Description

A versatile boat designed for fishing as well as cruising, the Sea Ray 340 Amberjack is one of the roomiest boats in her class thanks to a super-wide 13'5" beam. Angled double berth forward and a full-size dinette in the salon. The stateroom is separated from the salon by two sliding doors. Cockpit amenities include an in-deck livewell and fish box, a foldaway bench seat at the transom, and a clever dual-purpose bait prep station/wet bar behind the helm seat. The entire bridge deck can be raised electrically for engine access. Additional features include a centerline windshield vent, radar arch, wide side decks, and rod storage in the cabin sole. Twin 370hp MerCruiser inboards cruise at 20 knots and top out at close to 30 knots.

Description and features:

The Sea Ray 340 Amberjack, perfect for fishing or cruising, features a wide beam and large cockpit. The standard removable L-shaped aft bench ensures comfortable seating for passengers. The cockpit bolsters protect thighs and provide leverage during big fish fights. In the raised bridge area, the entire forward cockpit sole can be raised electrically for easy access to the engines. The helm includes a backlit switch panel with illuminated weatherproof rocker switches, dual gear shift and throttle controls, and plenty of room for additional electronics. Down below, the galley features a refrigerator; flush-mount, two-burner electric stove; microwave; and fiberglass countertop with sink and Corian cutting board. The dinette easily seats four for meals, and the TV / VCR / radio combo provides electronic entertainment in the cabin. The full fiberglass-enclosed standup head with shower and curtain also features a VacuFlush head, a mirrored medicine cabinet, and a vanity with sink and storage below. The forward stateroom has a hanging locker with a mirrored door, side shelf storage, and a comfortable full-size bed. A pocket door ensures privacy.
