Pressed for Time

Last year, Victor Vescovo reached the bottom on the Mariana Trench in a submersible, setting a depth record. Strapped to the outside of his bubble were three Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep Professional wristwatches. At a depth of 35,853 feet, the Seamaster watches were under more than 15,940 psi of pressure (roughly equivalent to the pressure a husband skulking through the door at 6 a.m. faces after not calling all night). And they worked when they got back to the surface.
