FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. – The MarineMax Pier 66/Ocean Alexander team enjoyed a record quarter resulting in six large boat deliveries, starting in late May with the delivery of a new Ocean Alexander 70 Evolution, which is the first Ocean Alexander model built in the United States. Also in May, MarineMax Pier 66 delivered a new 2016 Ocean Alexander 85 to a loyal customer who traded a 2014 Ocean Alexander 72, which, in turn, sold in just 10 days.
“In early June, we received and delivered a new Ocean Alexander 100 Sky Lounge that was contracted back in January,” said Steve Gale, MarineMax Pier 66 general manager. “Our client was looking for the elegance, comfort and seakeeping that only Ocean Alexander provides along with generous luxury and modern technologies that deliver the exceptional yachting experience that the owners were seeking.”
In June, a current Ocean Alexander owner traded a 2014 Ocean Alexander 78 Enclosed Bridge for a new Ocean Alexander 90 due into the U.S. in October. MarineMax sold the 2014 Ocean Alexander 78 trade-in to a long time New England yachtsman early in the month. Along with the 2014 Ocean Alexander 78, MarineMax sold and delivered a 2017 Ocean Alexander 85 Fly Bridge Motor Yacht that arrived from Tiawan in early June. Both were closed by the end of June with the owners taking delivery in Fort Lauderdale.
During the same month, the MarineMax Pier 66 team sold hull number one of Ocean Alexander’s impressive 112-foot Tri-Deck Motor Yacht.
“With all this activity we have some fabulous trades to offer after reconditioning, including a 2014 82 Fly Bridge Motor Yacht, a 2009 74 Fly Bridge Motor Yacht, both Ocean Alexanders and a 2011 78 Marlow Explorer Enclosed Bridge,” added Gale. “These yachts present MarineMax customers with great opportunities to own a fabulously reconditioned, turn-key, captain maintained vessel.”
