Seattle – Stan Miller Yachts and Grand Yachts Inc. announced the West Coast debut of the Grand Banks 50 Eastbay SX at the upcoming Seattle Boat Show. The 50SX will be a part of the in-water show at South Lake Union, January 23 through February 1.
The 50 Eastbay is the newest addition to the popular Eastbay series from Grand Banks Yachts. With stunning, sleek lines and a finely tuned hull form, the 50SX slices through the water, turning heads wherever she goes. The Seattle Boat Show marks the highly anticipated inaugural appearance of this model on the West Coast.
This Eastbay 50SX, hull number eight, boasts twin 800 hp MAN R6-800 diesel engines with straight shafts, delivering a brisk 26 knot cruising speed. She features a two-stateroom, two-head configuration with a down galley and many optional upgrades, including an electric sunroof, Glendinning joystick control system, Sealift Systems hydraulic tender lift, bow and stern thrusters, cockpit docking station, sunpad and much more. Her “Stars and Stripes Blue” gelcoat lends a crisp, nautical finish to her remarkable styling and finish.
While hull number eight is equipped with traditional straight shafts, new orders of the 50 Eastbay are available with standard Volvo IPS pod drive propulsion and can also be built in a flybridge configuration. Numerous interior layout options allow owners to tailor the yacht to their specific needs, with both two- and three-stateroom configurations available as well as upper, mid and lower galley designs.
