Description

Vaton 83 NOHeea, is a fast-sailing sloop, designed by Giles Vaton and built by Trehard. They have proven to be an excellent combination and together produced many high-quality aluminium yachts. As with others from the same designer and builder, NOHeea was conceived for charter use and for her time was very modern in many details – such as her crew aft and owner forward layout that is much favoured today. Sailing yacht NOHEEA has a lovely mahogany interior finish and provides 6 berths for guests and 4 for crew. Her owners have kept her well and in commercial class.

Construction

RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to 1998.

 

Commercial Vessel:

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

  • Aluminium hull, deck, and superstructure.
  • Topsides and cockpit repainted 2013.
  • Dark blue painted topsides.

  • Victron Centaur 24V 30Amp battery charger for radio battery set.

Alternators:

  • 100 Amp 24V engine-mounted alternator for charging service batteries.
  • 55 Amp 24V engine-mounted alternator for charging engine start battery.

  • Alternators as like turbo are serviced every 2 years.

 

Generator:

  • Onan EFO13ZD diesel generator – 2007, with Yanmar 3-cylinder engine, with new turbo in 2017.
  • Generator hours: approx. 5,900 hours as of Spring 2022.
  • Generator serviced annually – last service in July 2021.
  • New mainboard in August 2021. Alternator service 2020. New turbo and raiser in 2019.

 

Shore Power:

  • 220vAC shore power system.
  • Ring-main with 220vAC sockets throughout yacht.

Plumbing Systems

Fresh Water & Water Heating System:

Summary of Accommodation:

  • NOHeea offers a total of 10 berths in 5 cabins. (6+1 guests and 3 crew)
  • Three cabins for guests - large and bright double guest cabins, all with ensuite head with shower, and located in the forward area of the yacht.
  • Two cabins for crew - the crew area is located aft, with two crew cabins (captain cabin to port and twin cabin to starboard), each with ensuite heads.
  • Teak and holly sole-boards.
  • NOHeea has generous headroom, approx. 2.15m in saloon and 2m in the guest cabins.
  • Wood interiors are made in mahogany with hand rubbed satin varnish finish.
  • The floorboards are in plywood construction and the top face is faux teak with light stripes.
  • Alcantara covered removable overhead panels are installed in all accommodation areas.

Master Suite:

  • NOHeea’s Master suite is very spacious and sleeps 2/3 with one large double bed and a single and a corner desk/vanity table with seat.
  • Fully air conditioned and equipped with monitor, DVD, touch panel control with iPod connector.

 

VIP Double Cabin:

  • Sleeps 2 with one double bed. It’s cool and calm.
  • Fully air conditioned and equipped with monitor, DVD, touch panel control with iPod connector.

 

Guest Twin Cabin:

  • The Port Guest Cabin sleeps 2 with two single beds, good natural light, and ample storage space.
  • Fully air conditioned and equipped with monitor, DVD, touch panel control with iPod connector.

 

Saloon:

  • Unusually large.
  • On the port side there is an oval dining table surrounded by comfortable leather seating, with extra seats available if required.
  • The widescreen TV in the saloon can be used to enjoy DVD movies or monitor navigational data when connected to the navigation-system.
  • On the starboard side more seating can be found as well as a bar area with fridge and ice machine.

 

Galley:

  • The galley is an open space to the saloon and fully equipped with all amenities and professional tools to ensure guests a high experience also about Italian and international food and pastry.

 

Crew Cabins:

  • To aft there are the two crew cabins with ensuite.
  • Access is possible from deck or from the kitchen to give guests more space and privacy.

Deck Equipment

Cockpit:

  • NOHeea‘s cockpit is the ideal place to lounge, dine and relax. Shaded by a large Bimini the cushioned seating area borders an ample deck table that will easily seat 8 people.
  • More shade is provided at the bow of the boat where an awning can be erected.
  • Custom made sun mattress can be moved to any required position on deck.
  • The transom door when lowered to water level, transforms into a bathing platform with swim ladder. There is a deck shower located next to the platform.
