It is a vessel that is still highly appreciated by real sailors, whenever we sail we are almost always met with interest. In 2004, the yacht was thoroughly renovated and subtly rebuilt.The yacht received:– new deck made of 10mm mahogany plywood, then laminated with two layers and covered with a plank of original 6mm mahogany– new superstructure made of mahogany plywood– a new drain cockpit made of mahogany plywood with a laminated bottom and gratings made of teak massif– remodeled interior with new sleeping berths– mast with a profile of 115mm by Trimet from Radom with rigging and spreaders acc. the original Dragon class blueprints– full impregnation with chemicals from the German company Hempel, both midships, planks and cast iron keel– Installation of a set of deck fittings from LewmarLast year a new lazy jack was purchased, this year the deck was thoroughly renovated, which was painted with a professional paint system for marine yachts (7 layers of varnish).The yacht has a dedicated aluminum trailer that is registered and insured, you can safely transport the yacht to any place.The yacht after the reconstruction is not a faithful copy of the measuring yacht of the International Dragon class. This is due to the desire to use the yacht mainly for the purposes of qualified tourism, and thus the possibility of spending the night on it. The hull “holds” class dimensions, while the superstructure is a reference to the classic lines of skerry yachts.Dragon as a Scandinavian class is perfect for such an adaptation. The introduction of a shallow outflow cockpit results from the convenience of keeping the yacht on the water for a long time without a crew.
