Designed by C. Raymond Hunt & Associates and introduced into the O'Day line in 1981, the O'Day 35 was one of the most successful cruising designs built. The O'Day 35 is a reasonably good performer in terms of speed reaching 7 knots while having a generous amount of space bellow. It is very stable / stiff and has a low righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a coastal cruiser yet makes a fine short handed day/weekend sailer.
