This is one of the best sailing boats you can find in this size and price range. Modern hull design, winged high performance keel option, twin rudders and twin helms plus main and jib sheeting led aft make this a fantastic shorthanded cruiser with a lot of “spunk”. I have had numerous skilled and unskilled sailors on this boat in some even extreme conditions, reefed in the main (two single line reefs are standard from the cockpit) and sailed comfortably in 22-25 knot winds. Jeanneau's with all their design, building and sailing experience are simply “true sailing boats”.

For lighter air, the easily deployed top down asymmetrical or code zero option headsail are an option. With the asymmetrical and lighter air 8-9 with 12-14 knot puffs and NO main and we saw 5-6.5 knots consistently. The Code 0 is a true delight, consistently moving the apparent wind forward on a beam or broad reach 20-30 degrees. The main is easy to hoist and drop into the lazy bag.

Mix in the well laid out and roomy cruising interior and PRIVATE 2 staterooms with the factory air conditioning factory option makes staying on board a true comfort and pleasure. And don’t forget a full gimballing propane stove/oven/broiler, large icebox with refrigeration and even a WALK IN shower (did I mention standard?
