FORWARD CABIN: The forward cabin has a large forward berth with en suite head to port.
MAIN SALON: Next aft, the main salon has a straight settee to starboard, hinged backrest at NAVIGATION desk, aft facing. The port settee is L-shaped, pulling out to convert to a double berth. On the bulkhead, a dinette table folds up out of the way and when deployed seats six for dinner.
GALLEY: The U-shaped galley is open to the main salon and well designed for cooking. The galley includes ample counter space, storage, double basin stainless sink, top load refrigerator with front load freezer, microwave oven, three burner Force 10 propane stove with oven and broiler. The galley is conveniently located adjacent to the companionway.
AFT HEAD: To starboard is the main head which is spacious and has its own stall shower. Aft of the galley is a large double, private stateroom. This is in a prime location to come down the companionway and drop off wet foul weather gear in the seperate stall shower.
The interior has varnished cherry bulkheads and trim and a teak and holly sole. Special emphasis has been made to add comfortable and luxurious accents, details include cold-molded laminated curved door frames with contrasting cherry and ash, varnished to rubbed semi gloss effect.
The Freedom 40/40 interiors are bright and airy with 14 opening stainless steel ports and five opening deck hatches, two rhombus shaped skylights, and two dorades. The forward hatch is built into the angled deck and when opened yields magnificent airflow.
Enormous thought was given to the electrical systems in the yacht by Freedom Yachts.
