Description

Call or Text Young 8053404241Anyone in sailing knows that Ericson Yachts have a fantastic reputation for build quality especially from this vintage. This little gem “Sea Trek” has been in the same family since 1970. Yep, thats right, a rare ‘two owner’ Ericson. Hull # 69 was purchased in 1970 by the current owner. Enjoyed, loved and many wonderful memories have been created aboard. Sellers are hoping to pass her on to some one who will enthusiastically carry on the tradition as Sea Trek’s journey is hardly over. Sea Trek is well equipped and ready to cruise.. including a sea worthy Avon dinghy for scooting about coves at the islands. She has been re-powered in 2002 with new Yanmar 2GM 20F 20HP engine, great motors, easy to work on, maintain and find parts for. Seller is not sure of the hours but has overestimated them to be approx / less than 300 total hours. Unlike some models, she is equipped withastainless steel water tank. A well equipped galley with a safer, more efficient alcohol stove with an extra 2 gallons of alcohol. About the year 2000, Stanton Sail Makers in MDR provided a new “joey spinnaker” (never used) or an Asymmetrical spinnaker, and a storm jib. Other sails are 100% jib, 120% Genoa. Her Bottom was sanded down to the glass in 2018 and re-coated and painted. All through hulls have been replaced as needed over the last 15 or so years, and new ball valves installed. For those that want to anchor in peace, her ground tackle includes a bow anchor with 40’ of new chain and 400’ of rode. At Stern there is a Danforth Anchor with 100’ of Galvanized chain and 1/4"line as well as an additional 40lb storm anchor with 10’ of chain and 100’ of 5/8" rode stored away. Her rigging and chainplates have been well kept and appear to be in above average shape. This is an excellent opportunity to pick up a well equipped solid sailing vessel capable of cruising and she comes with lots of extras. There is also a new or spare toilet for the new owner to use as he/she see's fit. Other noteworthy items are: Specific tools for Yanmar, Radar Reflector, Tools for adjusting stuffing tube, Spare light bulbs, Flag staff holders, Flares, Hull plugs, Auto Tiller, Spare Tiller, 2 Oars, 3 Life preservers, 1 Throwable horseshoe with pole and light,2 Safety Harnesses.A lot of monetary value here, however the fun and memories to be created will be priceless. The good memories AND the memories of creating new curse words haha! :) We love our boats! If you like what what you’re seeing so far, call and make an appointment to get a closer look.To Schedule an appointment Call or text Young Gietzen at 805-340-4241Show More
