Description

Zephia is a lovely beautifully crafted long keeled cruising boat capable of blue water cruising , in comfort and safety,  she can be easily sailed single handed or double handed  . The classic Cape Dory 36 cutter represents the culmination of the famous Alberg designs from the original heyday of fiberglass sailboat industry. With her many upgrades and beautiful teak interior.

From the Cape Dory Owners' website:

"Despite the emphasis on ocean cruising capabilities assuring her ability to stand up in a blow, beat to windward or track effortlessly on long downwind runs, the Cape Dory 36 is not intended solely as a single purpose, long distance, passage making yacht. While powerfully built and heavily rigged for off shore work, she was designed to be equally well suited for the gentle breezes of an afternoon sail or a weekend cruise. The cutter rig with ample sheet and halyard winches, jiffy reefing gear and self-tending, boomed staysail, make her easy to sail single or short handed. Husband and wife crews will particularly appreciate the double headsail rig which offers a variety of sail changing and shortening options."

Currently there very few of these classic yachts for sale and Zephia is very competitively priced way below current market value.
