Description

Owned by one family since new, Coincidence is a Sadler 32, an English vessel built to Lloyds of London standards and the type which survived the infamous 1979 Fastnet Race with crew and equipment intact.

The sail plan and hull design provide a stiff boat with good performance and deep sea construction for rough weather. The interior is in good condition and spacious for the size boat.

With a dutchman 2 line system on the main and roller furling genoa this is a relatively easy boat to sail shorthanded.

While the boat is mechanically sound and ready to sail the only thing letting her down is exterior paint which is purely cosmetic.

This is an ideal first boat at an extremely reasonable price.

Upgrades and replacements over the years include:

New sails, bimini, and sail cover in 2011 from Quantum in Solomons, MD.

Upgraded replacement Bukh DV 24 in 2006 with heat exchanger option.

Rigging replaced in 2008. Recently inspected in 2022

Most interior electrics re-wired circa 2010.

Interior upholstery was replaced in 2013 and still shows well. Interior wood refinished in 2017.

Head replaced in 2018 and holding tank replumed.
