Reichel Pugh 42

A Reichel Pugh 42 originally designed for the GP42 rule in 2007. The hull is of carbon pre-preg foam sandwich, Ker designed fabricated steel fin with composite fairings and a Reichel Pugh carbon blade rudder and stock with carbon tiller. The boat came to the UK and was extensively modified in 2017 to compete in the Fast 40 Class. These modifications included removal of the coach roof, new deeper keel fin and a new taller Hall Spars ultra high modulus mast. She has just benefitted from a full refit including full re-fair and paint job to the hull, topsides and deck. Khumbu has an incredible track record that include overall Cowes Week and Fast 40 Regatta wins, while she is ready to compete under IRC or is equally at home under ORC.
