MOODY 30
In our Opinion this Moody 30 can only be described as being in great condition for her age & probably the best example available. She has clearly been well maintained and updated including fitting a new Engine in 2017. She is rigged as a sloop, has a skeg hung rudder and tiller steering. With a beam of 10’1” she has a spacious cabin with 6 berths, comfortable saloon, separate heads, galley and Navigation Station. Her condition at her age shows the build quality of this highly respected marque which is reflected in the hull survey that was completed in 2021, a copy of which can be available.. This Moody 30 is a great boat that that offers good performance and excellent accommodation for up to six, for family friendly cruising. She is currently lying in Hythe, Southampton & is available for viewings through Aspire Boat Sales.

Brokers Comments
In our opinion, this Moody 30 is in excellent condition and is probably one of the best available. It’s current, very experienced Owner looked at numerous versions before settling on Minstrel. She has a forward double cabin & three saloon berths and a rear quarter / pilot berth, giving 6 in total. In addition, she has a compact but useful galley, a separate heads compartment & even a Nav Station. Electronically, she is equipped with Plotter, VHF, Tridata, Wind Indicator and Tiller pilot. This particular Moody 30 has the very desirable option of an electric anchor windlass making anchoring a breeze as well as Eberspacher Cabin Heating. Her current Owner is only selling as he has another boat in the med with not enough time to enjoy both, but is clear to see that this boat has been looked after & loved.
The Moody 30 is known as being one of the Moody greats. She is solidly built, making her a safe & reliable boat which is both fun to sail & comfortable to live on-board. She is ideal for family sailing around coastal waters whilst still being very capable of cruising further afield. She is currently lying in Hythe in Southampton & viewing is a must if you are looking for a Moody 30.
