In the construction of this boat the Dufour yard concentrated its 50 years of experience, research and development. Many improvements have been made while respecting the need to maintain a classic and essential taste. It is jammed in features, while maintaining all the comforts and details characteristic of larger vessels such as the sail storage locker placed on deck. The Dufour 460 is a reference for other boats in terms of space optimization. With ingenuity and style, the spaces have been used to meet precise functions: an organized and heated wardrobe, mechanical ventilation in the cabins, lockers dedicated to shoes are some of the innovations on this model. The life on board the Dufour 460 does not imply any compromise: the spaces have been designed so that each guest can have his own privacy: the shower in the foredeck, for example, is separated from the toilet compartment. The concept of this boat is the synthesis between conviviality and privacy.

Born from an intense collaboration between Italian architect Umberto FELCI and the DUFOUR DEVELOPMENT TEAM, the 460 GL is a yacht of excellence, that guarantees high level performances as well as absolute comfort, in harmony will the values of latest Dufours :

Construction

• Hull: Hand-laminated in polyester/glassfibre.
• Decoration: Decorative stripes on the hull.
• Gelcoat: NPG gelcoat with first mat impregnated with NPG resin forming an optimum barrier against osmosis.
• Structure: Hull bottom counter-moulded, floors laminated into the hull.
• Deck: Sandwich with injected PVC foam core
• Ballast: Keel bolts bear on stainless back-plates
• Rudder: Semi-elliptical shape, filled with closed-cell epoxy foam.
