Cornish Crabbers Shrimper 19

The Cornish Crabbers Shrimper 19 is a well built, gaff rigged trailer sailer based on traditional West Country workboat lines. They provide good sailing ability with overnight accommodation for two. A lifting keel plate and rudder allows shallow water exploration. This particular example is presented in excellent order with mast and spars professionally refurbished winter 20/21, new overall cockpit enclosure, new sprayhood and much more.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers two berths in saloon. Settee berths port and starboard with width extensions and stowage beneath. Opening hatch to foredeck. Cabin light. Porta Potti toilet. Camping Gaz stove. Portable pumped water container. Interior in light paint finish with galley area forward and large storage locker to forepeak.

Stainless steel standing rigging (2015). Terylene running rigging. 2 Reefing lines. Aeroluff headsail furling system (new 2021) Whisker pole. Removable bow sprit with stainless stem and tack fittings.

Construction

Built in 2015 by Cornish Crabbers to a design by John Dongray. Off white simulated clinker GRP hull with Crimson water line. Teak rubbing strake. Off white GRP superstructure with moulded in non-slip to decks. Long keel with centre lifting plate (Centreplate checked, minor repairs and mechanism checked with wire replaced in 2021). Tiller steering to transom hung laminated plywood rudder with lifting plate. Good sized cockpit with seating, large aft storage locker, self draining cockpit and self draining anchor well. Hull copper coated from new.
