Description

The Owen Clarke designed ‘Red 66’ was launched in 2009. She was built by Composite Creations using wet-preg epoxy/glass/corecell foam core. She has a fabricated keel fin with a lead bulb, coated with an epoxy paint system before and after being faired. Under her current ownership ‘Red 66’ has been professionally maintained.

‘Red 66’ is a proven and reliable boat. She is sold ‘race ready’ and recently entered the 50th Anniversary Fastnet Race. With some additions she could be considered for Class40 compliance making her a perfect entry level boat. Alternatively, she would make a great candidate for line honours in medium to long offshore races (e.g. AZAB, OSTAR) or with some basic comfort below she is suitable for fast cruising, too.
