Class 40 Cape Racing Scow

Designed by Etienne Bertrand the Class 40 Cape Racing Scow  ‘The Three Brothers’ was built for competitive offshore racing by the South African shipyard Cape Racing Yachts. Designed with the now ubiquitous scow bow to reduce drag and improve stability, she is versatile and has proven fast on all points of sail. 

The Class 40 Cape Racing Scow ‘The Three Brothers’ had been meticulously maintained and prepared for the 2023 Transat Jacques Vabre Race. Safety and reliability have been a key priority together with the comfort for the skipper enabling  them to hold higher speeds for longer. With a new carbon rig on order, she has benefited from much investment making her a first-class racing option for a serious buyer who wishes to campaign with the best of the current Class 40 fleet. The Class 40 Cape Racing Scow is a clean, tidy, low mileage boat and we look forward to seeing her back on the racecourse with a new owner.
