‘Sabre II’ is a fast, proven and reliable boat. She is sold ‘race ready’ and recently entered the 50th Anniversary Fastnet Race. Historically Sabre II has achieved some great podium places, as Concise 2, coming 1st Sevenstar Round Britain & Ireland 2010, 1st RORC Caribbean 600 in 2011, 1st Normandy Channel Race 2012 & 1st Round the Island Race 2016.
The Marc Lombard designed Akilaria RC2 was built by MC-TEC and launched in 2010. She has two watertight bulkheads with escape hatches and with some modifications she could be considered for 2024 Class40 compliance making her a perfect entry level boat. Alternatively, she would make a great boat for offshore races or for fast blue water cruising. An early viewing is recommended.
