The sail inventory includes a furling 150 genoa, a 100% jib and a gennaker. The main has reefing points and a blue Sunbrella cover. Avalon also has a bowsprit, which makes handling larger sails more efficient, especially for a shorthanded crew. The hull and deck are in excellent condition. The bottom fiberglass was redone fifteen years ago, and the boat is blister free. Avalon is powered by an Atomic 4 gas engine. The spacious cockpit features corner seats and cushions. Also included in the sale is a full set of dock lines, fenders, PFDs, a rescue buoy, a throw pole, a bosun’s chair and chart pack. There is also a VHF radio, and cockpit instruments include a knot meter and depth sounder.

With over 10 feet of beam, this Catalina 30 boasts a roomy cabin ideal for overnight cruising. On the port side (from aft moving forward) you'll enjoy a spacious galley with a double sink, a large L-shaped settee with a drop-down table and a fully enclosed, functioning marine head. To starboard there is a quarter-berth, nav table and another comfortable settee. The engine is located under the port settee (towards the aft end), providing excellent engine access. The boat is also equipped with an electric bilge pump and a battery charger.
