Coming soon, a BTC-22 Mark 2 ex-demonstrator, ‘Harmonix’, with trailer and a host of extras is coming onto the market as a result of the owner moving up to a larger yacht.

The BTC-22 is a British built high performance trailer sailer which has been designed around the needs of single handed, family and racing sailers alike. Boasting a resin infused hull for a high degree of ‘stiffness’ at a low weight the BTC-22 also offers a powerful fractional rig, a large open cockpit, coupled with a contemporary hull shape, long water line, lifting bulb keel and twin rudders. So, include a contemporary high waisted chine for speed and stability, and the BTC-22 is sure to please the sporty sailor whether single handed or with a full racing crew. The deck plan uses modern Harken trimming systems, making for an efficient sailing experience with maximum enjoyment. There is plenty of storage above deck with two cockpit seat lockers and one large locker under the cockpit sole, big enough to take an outboard motor and lots more besides.

The BTC22 is a fun family boat too with enough room for 6 in the cockpit and bags of room below deck too.  In the large airy cabin the BTC22 has plenty (147cm) of headroom and 4 berths - one generous, 2 metre V berth and two giant settee berths measuring 2.5 metres each. Harmonix has a galley unit, featuring a freshwater tap and stainless steel basin, and a storage cupboard amidships. Under the V berth there is a removable chemical toilet. As well as the excellent storage space below the berths, the companionway steps are removable with access to a vast storage space under the cockpit sole. So, this 22 footer has a huge amount of  room for comfortable overnight stays and even family holidays. What's more, displacing a trailer weight of under 1 tonne, Harmonix does not need a big 4x4 to tow far away cruising or holiday locations!

Options which are available by seperate negotiation are a 2020 Hyde asymmetric spinnaker with Selden top down furler and Selden retractable bowsprit and a 2023 Raymarine ST2000 tiller pilot.
