Description

NEW LISTING

The Recipe is a rare owners version of the spacious Lagoon 560 catamaran, with 4 huge and fully air-conditioned  en-suite guest cabins with electric heads. The master cabin having its own separate companionway. There is a further captains cabin in the bow.

The vessel has been very well maintained, in superb condition throughout and in many respects still with the appearance of a much newer boat.

The sail handling is all controlled from the flybridge helm, with powered winches and headsail furling. The mainsail flakes into a carbon fibre Park Avenue boom and there is a bowsprit for downwind sails.

The teak laid entertaining cockpit has seating for more than 12 with beautiful upholstery around a custom inlaid cockpit table under a fixed bimini for shade and a full enclosure for those less than perfect days. The big Weber BBQ on the transom is a bit of a giveaway that the present owner is a celebrity chef. There are underwater lights for those perfect balmy evenings under the stars.

A stern arch holds solar panels together with a waterfall cockpit shower.

The console RIB has a Yamaha 40hp outboard for water-sports and is stowed on a hydraulic Tenderlift. There is also a Seabob and paddleboard in the inventory along with a dive compressor and scuba gear / tanks for 5 persons.

Propulsion is from 2 x 110hp Yanmar diesels and the transmission is fitted with Brunton Varifold props. There is also a tunnel bowthruster for close quarters manoeuvring in the tightest marinas.

In the galley is a cavernous fridge and freezer, a 4 burner stove and a microwave oven plus a full size Miele washer dryer.

The solar panels are rated for 2000W to keep the recently replaced batteries charged, the Onan 17.5kva generator powers the air-conditioning and the Idromar watermaker for self-sufficiency. Shorepower is 22vAC, the domestic systems are 24vDC.

A full suite of Raymarine electronics are installed including radar, autopilot, AIS and an Iridium sat-phone for communications.

Entertainment is provided by a 42” LCD TV and a Bose sound system.

The boats systems are connected to recently upgraded ePlex control modules which allow most of the systems to be conveniently monitored from a tablet or smartphone.

The vessel is MCA complaint with a full completment of current safety equipment to be expected on an ocean-going vessel.

Currently Lying in Antigua.
