Cavailer was built in 1991 by Lallows of Cowes using a mahogany double diagonal cold moulded construction, this gives you the best of both worlds if you are a lover of varnished hulls but want the strength of grp.
Originally built for a French owner who raced her until the late 90s when she was carefully laid up until the current owner found her in France and had her transported to Petticrows, where a wonderful refurbishment was undertaken.
During the refit nothing was left unturned, full strip and varnish of her beautiful mahogany topsides, hard racing antifoul polished onto the bottom, new harken hardware speced to Petticrows standard at the time, to finish the refit a new Harbeck trailer and every cover and spare that was needed to race at a high level.
She raced on and off up until 2015 when she was again laid up until 2022 when she was re commissioned for racing. You will see her on the Solent this year and is very much ready for a new owner to take her on.
Pictures to follow.
All sails are good for training, but new race sails would need to be purchased
