For decades, the small but well established Sirius shipyard from Plön in Schleswig-Holstein has stood up to the industry mainstream building solid, seaworthy sailing yachts with deck saloons in an exclusive manufactory. In easy to handle sizes from 30 to 40 feet, these cruisers have a unique, sophisticated deck saloon concept that offers an amazing amount of living space and comfort. The traditional boat building quality, immaculate GRP work and high standard of technical installations are second to none. In addition, the yard offers customers a level of customisation that is normally found in semi-custom constructions. The Sirius 35 DS is the middle model of the range. At just ten and a half metres overall length, she offers everything experienced sailors expect from a comfortable cruiser: A bright and cosy deck saloon with 360° all-round panorama, from where the yacht can be steered in uncomfortable weather conditions, a galley that would do credit to a 50-foot yacht, two spacious cabins with plenty of stowage space and lots of light, a big heads compartment and a separate shower and, last but not least, a technical room with good service access to installations and main engine.Beyond the extensive standard of the shipyard, this Sirius 35 DS has been equipped with a whole range of clever modifications and options. Highlights include the high-tech energy management system with a large lithium battery bank, two powerful chargers/inverters, solar panels and wind generator, as well as the office desktops in both cabins which, when not in use, can be dismantled practically without a trace in just a few steps. The yacht has been optimised for comfortable cruising and long journeys on board and leaves hardly anything to be desired.
