The Alerion Express 28 is a beautiful, well-rounded daysailer designed by Carl Schumacher to be fast, agile and light, while honoring the classical lines of the original Herreshoff Alerion from the early 1900’s. If anything, above the waterline the Alerion 28 is more "classic" than its namesake, with increased overhangs and a fine rake to the bow.  Below the waterline she is thoroughly modern with an elliptical keel and spade rudder – and as a package – performs well in both heavy and light airs with serious pep off the wind.At Peace’sgenerous-sized cockpit and cabin make her the perfect weekend cruiser.
