The Slocum 43 is a renowned sailboat model that was first introduced in 1983. Designed by Stan Huntingford, to be a capable offshore cruiser. It's sturdy construction has earned a reputation for its  exceptional seaworthiness, performance, and classic lines. It  has been favored by many bluewater sailors as an ideal cruising yacht. It has completed numerous ocean passages, showcasing its reliability and capability in demanding conditions with ease.The Slocum 43 features a traditional double-ended design, inspired by the famous Joshua Slocum's Spray. Its graceful lines and canoe stern give it a timeless and elegant appearance.Annabel Leehas an overall length of approximately 43 feet (13.1 meters), a beam near 12 feet (3.7 meters), and a draft of approximately 6.5 feet (2 meters). These dimensions provide a good balance of stability and maneuverability. It has a moderate displacement and a full keel, which contributes to its stability and tracking ability, which provides a comfortable ride even in rough seas.The interior is well-designed and spacious, offering comfortable accommodations for extended cruising. It features a primary midship cabin, with a double size berth, and proximity to companionway and galley. A forward cabin with double bunks to port, with shelving and cabinet storage to starboard. An additional aft quarter-berth for crew or crossings. The main saloon with a dining area and seating, a fully equipped galley, a navigation station.
