Description

Oriana is a 1979 44’ Kelly Peterson center-cockpit cutter with removable staysail. She was purchased by her current owners in 2010 and has been cruising extensively on the East coast between Maine and North Carolina. Kelly Petersons are known for their blue-water capabilities and also for their comfortable and spacious cockpits and cabins. Oriana has been well-maintained and constantly upgraded and is in great condition, ready to take her new owners wherever they may choose to sail. Recent upgrades include new (2021) standing rigging (including new chain plates and mast-out re-paint), new (2021) North 3Di sails (Main and Genoa), new (2022) Quantum asymmetrical[UR1] Spinnaker and sock, and new (2018) full cockpit enclosure are just some of her upgrades.
She can run all her system with solar power

Additional Equipment

All 14 portholes were removed, polished, new laminated glass installed, and then rebedded into the hull in a major refit in 2019. Other work at that time include installing Formica over the wood veneer prior to reinstalling the portholes; Ugrading the wiring and lighting with new fixtures and LED bulbs;  recovering all cushions in the cabins were recovered; Varnishing all woodwork  below with two fresh coat of varnish;  Replacing water hoses, all faucets and sinks; Replacing both marine toilets and hoses.
