Description

'Spirit of Brough' a Ganley Spirit 33 Steel Sloop built by Sagar Marine.

The vessel registered LOA is 10.4 with an 8.5m waterline, however she feels more akin to a 12mr vessel with Bowsprit and aft steering setup.

A 1983 build for an east coat owner so well suited to coastal sailing and fitted for long distance in traditional style.

SOB has the feel of a classic vessel even though only 1983 with the peace of mind for a sturdy steel hull

The vessel benefits from new standing rigging and 4 year old main sail.

In the last 4 year the following has been replaced:

Gear Box 2021, main boom 2023, jib roller reefer 2023,staysail roller reefer 2023, fuel system overhauled 2023 water filter replaced, Sterling battery charger fitted 2020, isolation switches for batteries 2022, New wind generator 2021, replaced side stanchions and wire 2021, cutlass bearing replaced 2019, compass overhauled 2021, single point reefing fitted when boom replaced, new main sheet  travellr fitted 2023
