Between the years of 1964 and 1980, approximately 70 boats of the Vindö 22 model were produced by Nötesunds Varv on Vindön. This classic sailboat boasts a long keel and a positive transom, as well as a solid interior. The boat’s classic high-gloss mahogany superstructure is a trademark that can be found throughout the sisterhood. The galley is located to port of the companionway, and the saloon has two longitudinal sofas that can also be used as comfortable sleeping berths. A wardrobe is located on the starboard side between the saloon and the fore cabin. The fore cabin is traditional and consists of two bunks and a toilet that is located beneath them. The hull and deck are made of GRP, while the superstructure is made of mahogany and the deck is covered in teak. The cockpit and the entrance are also made of mahogany.
Vindö 22, LENTE is truly something special. The owners were looking for a day sailor with electric propulsion, and when modern boats didn’t appeal to them, they decided to invest in a classic Swedish-built sailboat and upgrade it to their liking. Once the right vessel was found, Vindö Marin was tasked with renovating and improving the boat, while ensuring that the patina and charm of time remained intact. LENTE has been tastefully renovated and equipped with new sails, a new Furlex, and a new electrical system. To meet the owners’ wishes, an electric motor from Bellmarin was installed. Vindö Marin has restored the cockpit and superstructure with beautiful mahogany, and the hull has been painted in the original dark blue hue with a gold stripe. The owners spared no expense, and the boat is in absolutely pristine condition. If you dream of sailing in style and silence, even when the wind isn’t blowing, you should take a closer look at this sailboat.
