She has only had 3 Owners from new and has been well maintained and updated including fitting a new Beta Engine in 2017, new Keel Bolts in 2020 and new batteries in 2021. She is rigged as a sloop, and has the original wheel steering option. With a beam of 10’7” she has a spacious cabin with 6 berths, comfortable saloon, separate heads, galley and Navigation Station. Her solid teak woodwork accentuates the build quality of this highly respected marque. She has two double cabins & two extra saloon berths giving 6 in total, as well as a compact but useful galley, a separate heads compartment & a forward facing Navigation Station. Electronically, she is equipped with VHF, Speed, Depth & Log Gauges, Wind Indicator and Autopilot & she has the ability to connect to shore power   This particular Moody 31 has the expensive optional extra of wheel steering meaning her cockpit has plenty of room for all the crew. Having only had 3 Owners from new and having been fitted with a replacement engineit is clear to see that this boat has been looked after & loved.The Moody 31 Mk 2 is known as being one of the Moody greats. Built to Lloyds Standards, she is solidly built, making her a safe & reliable boat which is both fun to sail & comfortable to live on-board.
