I have sailed this beauty for over a year now doing 8000 nautical miles. In that time she has proven herself time and time again in various waters. I have crossed the North Sea, the Baltic Sea, Biscaya, the Atlantic Ocean and cruised around in the Caribbean.Hallberg Rassy Monsun is the bestseller from Hallberg Rassy and is a boat built to withstand any type of weather, while still maintaining a beautiful and classic look. I have made sure to keep her ship shape at all times, which is required when living aboard and crossing big seas. The interior is kept original from 1978 with compete mahogany. The exterior is mostly teak after a great job done by the original manufacturer in 2008. There is also a new engine from 2006, with 33 HP instead of the 21 original. Combined with a bow-thruster, she is much easier to dock in tough places that she originally was. A long keeled boat can be hard if the weather is rough, but not this beauty.Show More
