Her strong build, long waterline, fin keel with cutaway forefoot, coupled  with a moderate sail area gives her plenty of power under sail but she's also easily managed and has great sea-keeping ability.  These characteristics have given her remarkable longevity and dozens if not hundreds are still sailing all over the world.Down below she's a delight with open spaces, nice galley, two heads with showers and two comfortably separated staterooms.  Her ample beam, carried well aft, provides for a multitude of storage areas, huge tankage and easy living in the main salon.  These features are further enhanced by 20 opening (bronze!) ports and 3 additional opening hatches.
