Designed under the watch of Allen Payne who is probably best known as the designer of the 12 meter ‘Gretel II’, that had watchers on the edge of their seats as it very nearly took away the America’s cup in 1970. In 1993, he was honored as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his contribution to Australian yachting. A fairly decent indication of one who is capable of quality yacht building. This Columbia 10.7 ‘Raven’ is ready for her next owner to carry on the tradition of taking to the seas. This is a nice design and comfortable layout, especially for extended stays out at an island cove or long cruises, and even as a potential live-aboardin the right marina. The current seller has added a few features to create a bit more comfort to the already cozy environment. The large Stainless Steele farm style galley sink and high neck faucet stands out in what seems to be nearly center view as you enter.  The shine of the wall mounted diesel heater, or what some call, the boat fireplace :) is always a favorite.
