Description

Cal boats are well-renowned American cruisers from the era (1977) when hulls were thick and solid.

This Cal 39 (11.88 m) has been completely refitted in 2010, before cruising her from the US to Asia. In 2010: new mast, new rigging, new engine, new fuel and water tanks, new watermaker, new auto-pilot, new inverter, new solar panels, new oven, new sails, and so on. In 2015: new navigation equipment, new batteries, new additional solar panels, new anchor and chain, new windlass, new running rigging, new head, and so on. In 2017: new davits, new upholstery, extra chain, and superb maintenance....2023: new AGM batteries, new water pump, engine full service. In other words: the only thing that is still from 1977 is the hull, and that is a good thing...

This boat sails beautifully, is so complete that she is literally ready for another circumnavigation. You simply won't find a better sailer and sturdier circumnavigator for this price. Truly a perfect boat.
