1972 CAL 27 Pop Top

This Cal is ready to sail! The seller has spent the last few years outfitting and updating her features. She's great for racing, She won the 2019 Commodore Cup at the Stingray Harbour Yacht Club. Many upgrades have been added.

If you have ever been aboard a Cal sailboat, you will know that they are built strong and have amazing sailing capabilities.

The top deck has been recoated with Kiwi Grip non-skid, the hull sides have been painted within the last 3 years. The interior wiring has been upgraded and the interior has been upgraded as well.

She is powered by a 9.9 Honda four-stroke engine with a remote fuel tank.

The main sail was replaced IN 2021 and the standing and running rigging have been replaced as needed within the last 3 years.

She has nice accommodations down below. The galley has a stove, there is an in-counter icebox that is clean, there is a composting head, and much more!

Condition

This Cal 27 with a pop-top has been maintained by the owner. Many upgrades have been performed such as the electrical wiring. The main sail was replaced last year and the standing and running rigging and mast were serviced three years ago and components were replaced as needed. The seller states there are no leaks to the interior. The sailboat now sits on the hard for the winter. The bottom was painted with ablative bottom paint and the hull sides were waxed in November 2022. Draft 4.5 ft New mainsail in 2022 has the Cal27 insignia on it Standing rigging and running rigging have been serviced about 3 years ago and replaced as needed Two new spreader lights All electricity down below has been replaced.
