Description

Welcome aboard CLOUD, a 1974 Bowman 36 long keeled offshore cruiser. If your vision is to sail the seas, CLOUD may be the perfect match for you. She is designed to cross oceans in safety and comfort.
The owners have professionally maintained and upgraded CLOUD with no expense spared. From the year 2019 to 2021, she underwent an extensive refit. In 2019, an interior refit was performed by the legendary Bayliss Boatworks. A cabin housing two pilot berths was rebuilt into a comfortable dinette that also converts into a berth. Padded paneling was added throughout the interior. The V berth was also completely rebuilt  to accommodate two people instead of one. All three deck hatches were replaced with brand new low profile Vetus hatches.
The owners have invested more than 100,000 dollars into ensuring CLOUD lives on with a modern touch in comfort and safety features. Read the additional descriptions for all of the details.
When the owners bought CLOUD, she was being restored by the owner's father in Bermuda. The current owners decided they would like to continue the project for him here in North Carolina, and purchased the boat. In December of the same year, one of the owners and his crew set sail from Bermuda. They ran into some trouble offshore of Cape Hatteras and the U.S. Coast Guard towed them into port. The boat took on some water and yet the story ends well. The result is a fully restored Bowman 36 that is a must see. Watch the owners tell the story in their own words in the video via this link. https://youtu.be/zxcDwEkf26o
Bowman Yachts is a brand of the British premium yacht builder Rustler Yachts located in Falmouth, Cornwall. They are among the highest quality yacht builders in the world, comparable to Hinckley and Morris in construction quality and attention to detail. Read the descriptions, view the photos and video, and call today to make a reservation to see CLOUD in person.
