Lagoon 440

'Olive' is a 2004 Lagoon 440 listed exclusively for sale with YOTI, Australia and Orakei Marine, New Zealand.

This much sought-after 3-cabin, owners' version Lagoon 440 is completing a cruise to the Pacific Islands of Fiji and New Caledonia before returning home to New Zealand by late September '23. Her owners have prepared her extensively for this cruise, with many great upgrades and maintenance works.

This vessel has a great blue water/liveaboard specification and comes with twin 75Hp Volvo engines with low hours (installed only in 2016 and 2019), an Onan 9kva Generator, 1300W solar, supplying 800 Ah Lithium batteries (all installed in 2019) and a full array of Raymarine Electronics and Chart plotters (2019). There is a 5KVA Victron Quattro charger/inverter, a 90l/hr Dessalator watermaker and saloon and owners' cabin air conditioning (aircon installed in 2021).

Her interior is in Beech, with light creme upholstery. Her saloon is airy and light, with the trademark excellent all-round visibility that Lagoons are known for. To port is a comfortable and large L-shaped settee with a low table that houses an additional dual zone fridge/ freezer. The Nav station, with duplicate nav instruments and plotter, is starboard.

The aft-facing galley with practical stainless steel tops has lots of counter and storage space and is fitted with a Westinghouse induction hob and a Kitchen aid multifunction oven. Another fridge and freezer, in the galley and saloon are complimented by a cockpit drink fridge.

All her cabins are ensuite, with large hull windows and overhead hatches to ensure ventilation, light and space. The spacious owners' cabin takes over the starboard hull and can be closed off with a sliding door. Aft is the island-style double berth, midships a desk, wardrobe, and sofa and up forward the large head with enclosed shower and washing machine. The port aft cabin also features a double island berth with good storage, its own head and shower. The port-forward cabin has a double berth, an ensuite head and shower, and a second door to the passageway.

The flybridge on the 440 has complete all-around visibility, protected by a beautiful custom hard top, with a sliding hatch for sail trim and access steps to close the mainsail bag. Raymarine GPS plotter and multi-function displays are at the helm, with the mainsheet winch and other control lines at arm's length. Custom stainless steel guard rails on the coach roof make for safe access to the mast. She has a full batten mainsail, furling jib and, for downwind performance, a gennaker on a removable furler and an MPS in a sock.

Olive has current New Zealand Ship Registration and is both New Zealand and Australian taxes paid.

Steering Wheel, cable to connecting bar. Steering cables renewed in '23.

Accommodations and Galley

3 Cabin Owners version, interior wood in beech and upholstering light creme. Large island berth in owners and port aft cabins, and double berth in port forward cabin. Under mattress slats. Innerspring Mattress to owners cabin. Large L-shaped settee in saloon, pull out screens and flyscreen for all deck hatches. Bedding for all cabins. 6 berths.

Ensuite H+C showers to all cabins, 1 x H+C cockpit shower. New ceilings and mouldings fitted Dec 22.

3 x Quiet Flush Electric toilets with holding tanks. Holding tanks fully cleaned and most sewage hoses replaced late '22.

Stella 16,000 BTU reverse cycle to the saloon and 6,000 BTU to Owners cabin. Both new '21.

JVC stereo with saloon, cockpit and flybridge loudspeakers. Kogan flatscreen TV to saloon and TLC TV ('21) to owners cabin.

Three Stainless steel sinks. Freshwater foot pump and filter water tap at galley.

118L Vitrifrigo Fridge in galley. 119L Hisense Fridge ('21) in galley/saloon. Dometic Dual zone 95L Fridge/ Freezer under saloon table - 2019. Additional 65L Midea bar fridge ('23) in cockpit.

Westinghouse 2 hob Induction. KitchenAid convection/microwave/ grill/steam multipurpose oven (new '19). Both operate on Inverter/genset/shore.

Dessalator 240v watermaker - 90L/hr. New membrane '21. Serviced in '23.

Water Capacity: 2 x 300L rotomoulded tanks. Total 600L. Most fresh water pipes replaced Dec '22. Spare water pump.

Hot Water: 60L HWS - heated Electric/Engine (new '21).

Safety Gear

6-Person Liferaft (new May '23) with hydrostatic release (Liferaft next service (5/26). SOS Dan Buoy serviced May '23.2x Epirbs (exp '26 & '31). 4x Baltic inflatable harness life jackets with rescue MOB AIS in each (new '21). Numerous harnesses, tethers and Jackstays. Fire extinguishers & flares new '23. Seabrake drogue fully setup (never used).

Bilge Pumps - Each main Hull: 1x Automatic Electric bilge pumps and 1 x manually switched Electric Flood bilge pumps to min bilge. 1x Manual Bilge pump per hull, operated from the aft cockpit. Each engine bay : 1 x Electric bilge pump to each engine bay.

Mast/Rigging and Sails

Full Batten mainsail, serviced in '23 (moderate condition). Genoa - on furler, serviced in '23 (moderate condition). 4th reef point added to mainsail 2023 to be used as a stormsail. Storm jib ( new '23). Furling code zero, on a removable furler and socked MPS in very good condition. Profurl furler for genoa.

Aluminium mast and boom. Stainless steel 1 x 19 wire (re-rigged in 2014). Rigging checked and serviced ('23). Custom s/steel bowsprit for Code 0/ MPS.

Winches: At helm: 2 x Lewmar 54 2Sp ST Electric winches (for main halyard, reef lines, furler, traveller and mainsheet) and 2 x Lewmar 54 2Sp ST winches (Genoa sheets, other halyards). Lewmar deck blocks and Spinlock jammers.

Electrics and Navigation

Batteries: 800Amp/hr 12v Amptron Lithium LifePo4 Lithium House Batteries (Jul 2019). 2x Starter batteries for engines (2023) and 1x genset (2021).

Victron Quattro 5KVA inverter/ 220 Amp Battery charger, with Victron colour controller and app. 2 x Enerdrive DC2DC 12v-40+ Battery Chargers. Victron MBV-700 Battery Monitor. 4 x 325=1300W Solar panels with 2x Victron MPPT 150 charge controllers.

Solar panels on custom s/steel frame over davits (Installed in 2019). Camec Aarav 4kg Washer in owner's head. Shorepower leads. Deck courtesy lights on transoms and steps to owners' cabin. Blue nightlights to saloon floor. 240v wires throughout the vessel checked and replaced as required ('21).

LED interior lighting. Indirect Lighting in saloon, cabins and companion way. LED & Halogen Nav lights.

At chart table: Raymarine Axiom 12" GPS Plotter ('21). GME GP450X stand alone GPS (New '19). At Helm. Raymarine Axiom 12" GPS Plotter with Raymarine RMK 10 remote keypad (New '19).

Depthsounder & Fish finder with Raymarine with i70s display at nav station and 2x i70s displays at helm ( New '19). Raymarine with ST6001 Autopilot head at nav station and St6002 Smart pilot head at helm. Autopilot motor serviced, new bearings, in '23.

Raymarine AIS650 Class B Transceiver (New '21), Raymarine 4KW 18" Digital Radome Radar. Plotter with latest Navionics charts for AUS/NZ/Fiji/ New Cal. Plastimo compass.

Raymarine Ray55E VHF at nav station and Raymarine Raymic at helm. Iridium Go with external antenna (new '21). Starlink RC on S/steel pole at transom (new '23).

Hull & Deck: GRP & Balsa. Aft cockpit floor in teak.
