Laguna is a truly immaculate boat - Built in France to the design of the well-known Classic Yacht Designer Eugene Cornu She is owned by a meticulous merchant mariner owner who has maintained this classic tip top condition for decades and it shows. Hull and Superstructure

Hull Construction:

• Carvel with Honduras Mahogany planking on 1.5" x 1.25" oak frames
• fastened with every 5"-6" with copper rivet fastener

Superstructure: 

• Foredeck, low profile cabin trunk / coach roof, aft cockpit

 Deck:

• 1" Marine Ply with 1/4" teak planking with oiled finish

Bulkheads

• Teak veneer plywood

Survey Comments:

• The wetted surfaces were examined visually and with sounding hammer 
• Found to be sound with tight seams and no evidence of wood deterioration
• Bottom painted with PETIT Trinidad red anti-fouling paint (Fall 2021)
• The topsides are sound and in good cosmetic condition as is Interior

Structural repairs carried out by Well known local Shipwright  include:

• Horn timber repairs
• New purple heart keel (vertical) floor was fitted requiring engine removal
