UFO 89 RIB

The U.89 RIB incorporates the finest high-tech materials and cutting-edge technologies.

Its planing deep-V hull, designed by Xavier Pillet, is built for performance. Made from a robust carbon/epoxy/kevlar sandwich almost three centimetres thick, its rigidity makes it stimulatingly responsive for sporty sailing.

The vertical bow lengthens the hull and ensures exemplary handling in choppy waters and fine entry into waves.

The whitewash design has been further improved to enhance high-speed stability and support a 600 hp engine. This surprising stability makes it possible to make tight turns without lurching, where the U89 demonstrates eminent nautical qualities.

The inflatable floats are made of hypalon neoprene, a polymer fabric selected for its excellent resistance to sunlight, temperature variations and chemicals, particularly hydrocarbons. A liston protects them from rubbing, and textile-covered handrails enable passengers to hold on when the boat accelerates. The forepeak is fitted with a superb roller davit for easy anchoring.
