Il Soleil 20 presentato da Salpa, cantiere dalla solida tradizione nel campo delle imbarcazioni in vetroresina, che dal 2016 ha deciso di diversificare la produzione cimentandosi, con successo, anche nel settore dei battelli pneumatici: dopo il 23, il 28 e il 33, ecco dunque il nuovo “piccoletto” della gamma, un gommone lungo 5,95 metri (6,40 fuori tutto) e largo 2,55. Lo scafo è in vetroresina bianca, mentre i tubolari, di 58 cm, sono grigi. La carena single step e la parte anteriore del battello, con una prua a taglio quasi verticale, favorisce l’ottimizzazione in planata anche a basse velocità. A beneficio del comfort, sono previsti due prendisole: uno a prua, l’altro, componibile, a poppa. La motorizzazione prevede la possibilità di guida senza patente, utilizzando fuoribordo da 40 hp, ma è possibile adottare anche motori di potenza superiore: il cantiere giudica consigliabile la potenza di 70 cavalli, ma lo scafo è in grado di reggere spinte superiori, fino a 140 hp. In tal caso le prestazioni raggiungerebbero punte entusiasmanti, anche per la leggerezza del battello, che non supera i 650 kg, al netto dei carichi rappresentati dall’ancora e dai serbatoi della benzina (90 litri) e dell’acqua (30).
