Description

The PowerBoat Guide calls the Nordic Tug 26 an“iconic pocket cruiserwith a salty tugboat profile … super-economical … secure in the water and built to last.”The Nordic Tug 26 is aproven pocket trawlerdesign that has enjoyed longevity for over three and a half decades. With well over 200 hulls built, the boat has enduring appeal as a family and couple’s retirement cruiser and has a near-cult following. Nordic Tugs prides itself on its reputation for quality.Power comes from a single85-hp Perkins diesel, delivering 6- to 7-knot cruising speeds. A variable pitch propeller provides excellent low speed performance while fishing or docking. The topside layout includes walk-around decks with sturdy rails and handholds. The main salon features a helm/piloting station forward with excellent visibility, port and starboard sliding doors, settee with dining table, linear galley and a cockpit aft -all on a single level for easy and comfortable movement. The large cockpit features a secondary helm, chest freezer, and shower. The current owners purchased the vessel in 2011 and have cruised in WA, B.C. and SE Alaska for the past twelve summers. The boat has been stored on the included three-axle trailer in the off-season."Salty" is well-outfitted and ready to take its next owners on new adventures, exploring the beautiful waters of the Salish Sea, completing the "Great Loop," or cruising the Inside Passage to Alaska. Or, when feeling less ambitious, just head out for an afternoon of crabbing or fishing, or for a peaceful overnight at your favorite anchorage. This sturdy and seaworthy vessel will take you wherever you want to go with confidence, in style and comfort.Contact Listing Broker: Mark McCann at 206-306-5377 for more information or to arrange a showing.Show More
