Due to the owner's transition to a larger trawler, this fine Albin 36 classic trawler is now being sold.
The boat is now in the water in a bubble harbour, under a winter tarpaulin. More pictures will come in the spring.
Standard
This is a nicely composed trawler with the perfect size for a family of 4. The boat is from 1979 but holds up well. Some cosmetic work must be expected, including on the rebuilt flybridge. No significant errors or omissions.
Ask to get the owner's own declaration about the condition.
Floor plan
The Albin 36 has a "Classic" design, and is close to the more well-known Grand Banks 36 Classic in its design. Solidly built and with nice details.
The boat is easy to move around, with a wide doll table and plenty of space both on the foredeck and not least on the sloping aft deck and large flybridge. where the fixed seats that come as standard have been removed. On the flybridge you will find the external steering position.
Access to the nice and bright saloon from the port side sliding door. Here you will find a pleasant U-shaped sofa/seating solution, galley and interior driver's space.
From the saloon there are stairs down to the forecabin with a V-berth with room for 2 (single beds) and a private bathroom/wc. Aft there is a descent to the owner's cabin, which has a double bed and a private bathroom/wc with shower.
Plenty of cupboard space.
Sea characteristics
Safe boat with good seaworthiness. Easy to maneuver also with the help of bow thrusters. The displacement hull also provides good fuel economy and range. Life is best in a trawler!
Motor and mechanical
In Albin 36 you will find a very reliable Cummins 210 hp diesel, installed in 1994. Approx. 3,400 hours running time, continuously maintained by owner. Good access to the engine compartment from the saloon, where the entire floor above the engine can be opened up.
