The Aquamatic diesel is designed with our DuoProp propellers and is coupled with the D6 engine, designed exclusively for marine applications. The 5.5-liter twin D6’s deliver unique marine torque, ensuring maximum power is transferred to the DuoProp propellers and into the water, giving you high efficiency and power transfer while you benefit from reduced fuel consumption compared to outboard solutions.

Up to 50% Increase In Range

With fuel efficiency comes an increase in range. At high cruise, the Volvo Penta Twin D6-440 has a range of 491 miles, a 50% increase in range compared to triple outboard power.

DuoProp for Aquamatic Drives

Volvo Penta designed DuoProp to capture the tremendous torque from the latest generation D4 and D6 engines. The patented blade geometry of the propellers provides optimal interaction between front and rear propellers, for outstanding efficiency and smooth and comfortable operation. The large blade area provides maximum grip and maneuverability. Made of high-strength stainless steel alloy for excellent strength and durability. Complete with shock absorbing rubber bushing and galvanic isolation makes it perfectly matched for the Aquamatic drive.

ELECTRONIC VESSEL CONTROL 2.0

Everything can be easily controlled and monitored with the intuitive Electronic Vessel Control (EVC) system. With the system, you can plot a route on the Glass Cockpit System, activate the Autopilot on your Joystick, and be guided smoothly to your destination. Electronic dipstick allows you to monitor fluid levels and engine performance from the Glass Cockpit System. Easy and intuitive.

Outstanding Maneuverability

360-Degrees of docking capabilities. Wherever you’re going, the Joystick gives you precision at your fingertips with its unique functions – Joystick Driving and Joystick Docking. The joystick is integrated into the helm chair for comfort. Multiple stations allow you to alter the course of your vessel without having to use the helm.

Full Control At Reduced Speed

With the Low-Speed Mode, a boat’s speed at idling can be reduced by 50%, from 5-6 to 2-3 knots, using the throttle/gear lever. Incrementally increase or decrease speed, allowing more precision to get to a specific speed by 0.1 knot increments. This makes the Low-Speed Mode perfect when docking, fishing or driving in canals.
