Introduced in 1989, the Ocean 32 Super Sport has the rakish profileand aggressive performance found in larger Ocean yachts as wellas the interior comforts that have made Ocean models so popularwith cruisers over the years. Indeed, she’s a good-looking boateven today with a roomy cockpit and a surprisingly open interiorlayout. The galley-down floorplan (with no forward windshield) isarranged with a walkaround double bed in the stateroom, a featurenormally associated only with larger boats. A convertible loungeand dinette are found in the salon, and headroom in most areasis well over 6 feet. There’s plenty of room in the cockpit for amounted chair, and the flybridge will seat six with bench seatingforward of the helm. Standard features included a central vacuumsystem, teak covering boards in the cockpit, a built-in fish box,cooler, and a tackle locker. Note that the engine room is a very tightfit. Twin 320hp Crusader gas engines cruise the Ocean 32 at about23 knots (30 knots top).
