OCEAN SPORT HISTORY

In 2000, Jim Lindell partnered with Ron Meng of Island Marine Center to design and build the Ocean Sport Roamer 30 utilizing the latest vacuum infusion fiberglass technology. As one of very few people with the skill and knowledge to do so, Jim extended or “stretched” the back deck on the Ocean Sport to create the now well-known Ocean Sport Roamer 33. Like all of Jim’s work, the Ocean Sport was a combination of supreme form and function, engineered and built to the utmost highest quality.

Fast forward to today where the Ocean Sport Roamer is a no nonsense, outboard powered fishing boat built by the folks who manufacture the Nordic Tugs brand. She was powered by sterndrives but Nordic Tugs re-designed her stern and beefed up construction for outboards that bring many benefits to this boat on the east coast, especially North Florida.
