Description

The HR352 was from start a substantial sales success and offered large-boat characteristics at a moderate price. She is a very good and seaworthy sailing yacht, with center cockpit, a classic comfortable interior, big engine and a passage to the aft cabin. The boat is a great sailor and the build quality is as all Swedish Orust designs, excellent. Between 1978-1991 a total of 802 boats were built, making it one of the most popular quality offshore cruisers ever. This is one of the Hallberg-Rassy models that put Hallberg-Rassy on the map as a leading high quality manufacturer of blue water cruisers. In the 2018 ARC + race across the Atlantic, Las Palmas to St Lucia in the Caribbean, the swedish double handed crew of Hallberg-Rassy 352 no 125, was placed second in category C 2018. This boat was also the smallest and oldest in the fleet.S/Y Iolanda was built in 1984 and is No. 243 in series 802 Hallberg-Rassys 352. She has had three owners from new. She has mostly sailed in British waters and the current owners sailed her to Portugal in 2017. The boat has since sailed for some time in Portugal's waters and for a short time in the Mediterranean but had its base in Lagos marina where she is now.The current owners have kept the boat in a generally good condition and upgraded the boat significantly in 2013 and again 2016 with new pumps, bildge pums, log , instruments and a new powerfull engine – a 56 HP Yanmar with now only 1000 motor hours. Later new Sprayhood , Cockpit tent and new sails were added. In 2020 the owners had the standing rigg replaced as well. The teak deck is original and in an acceptable condition. The sails has been replaced with a new mainsail, a newer genoa and also an older larger genoa. There is also a spinnaker with spinnaker rod attached to the mast. All standing rig is replaced including a new furling gear. After having had the boat in Portugal for a number of years, the current owners have become so fond of Portugal that they are now going to start a new land-based chapter and have bought a house to settle down in. They have now decided to put S/Y Iolanda up for sale to give a new owner the same opportunity they have had to create nice sailing memories.Specifications:Year of build: 1984Length: 10.54mBeam: 3.38mDraught: 1,67mKeel type: Long fin keelMast height: 14.53mWeight/Displacement: 6 700 kgGeneral information:● Layout with 2 cabins, 1 front cabin and 1 aft cabin – with a total of 7 beds (3 in aft cabin, 2 in front cabin and 2 in saloon)● Original teak deck and teak in cock-pit in acceptable condition.● New Engine - 4 cylinder Yanmar (56HP) 1000 hours.
